Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with kayak and paddleboard rentals, providing guidance and safety information.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the rental stand and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and quality.
• Lift and transport equipment, including kayaks and paddleboards, weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in customer service or outdoor recreation is a plus.
• A passion for the outdoors and a desire to share that love with others.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Overview: As a Tour Guide, you will lead engaging kayaking and paddleboarding tours, sharing your knowledge of Austin’s history, wildlife, and natural landscapes. This position requires a friendly personality, a passion for the outdoors, and the ability to connect with people of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided tours on kayaks and paddleboards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
• Share interesting facts about the lake, local wildlife, and Austin’s history during tours.
• Provide safety briefings and instructions to guests before launching.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for tours.
