Job Overview: As a Tour Guide, you will lead engaging kayaking and paddleboarding tours, sharing your knowledge of Austin’s history, wildlife, and natural landscapes. This position requires a friendly personality, a passion for the outdoors, and the ability to connect with people of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct guided tours on kayaks and paddleboards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for participants.
• Share interesting facts about the lake, local wildlife, and Austin’s history during tours.
• Provide safety briefings and instructions to guests before launching.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for tours.
• Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere, encouraging group participation and engagement.
  

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Passion for the outdoors and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.
• Previous experience in guiding tours or outdoor recreation is preferred but not required.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
